New Course. Big Feelings. Slightly Damp.
Hi lovely,
There’s something about May that feels like a yes.
Not the loud kind—not the all-caps YES we try to manifest in January.
But a soft, steady yes—the kind that opens windows and perfumes the room with lilac.
The kind that rises up from the dirt and says, I didn’t give up. I just needed some time.
May is when the world gets lush again.
When everything around us is rooting deeper and blooming louder—without asking permission.
And maybe, just maybe, this month is asking you to bloom a little too. To reach toward warmth. To return to sensation.
So instead of making a to-do list, maybe try this:
Touch something soft.
Taste something bold.
Write something honest.
Listen for what your body has been whispering all winter.
Here’s what I’m offering this month if you’re ready to meet yourself in the middle of the beauty:
✦ New Workshop: Feeling is Knowing
Saturday, May 10 | 4:00–5:30 PM ET
Sliding scale: $10–40 | Live on Zoom
This 90-minute offering is for anyone curious about the language of the body—especially in recovery.
Together, we’ll explore:
The difference between sensations and emotions
How our bodies speak through feeling, not words
What Somatic Tracking is—and how it supports healing, cravings, and regulation
Gentle practices for getting curious instead of critical
✦ This is for you if…
You have a sixth sense for reading a room—but sometimes forget to check in with yourself.
You notice when someone’s energy shifts before they even say a word.
You’ve mastered the art of being what other people need—but aren't always sure what you need.
You skip meals, ignore thirst, or push through exhaustion because someone else needs something first.
You can name everyone else’s emotions but struggle to locate your own.
You often say “I’m fine” when your body is actually screaming otherwise.
You long for a deeper relationship with your body—one that feels like partnership, not performance.
You’ve tried mindset tools and affirmations, but something still feels stuck in your system.
You’re curious about what your sensations might be trying to tell you—if you could just slow down long enough to listen.
There will be teaching, reflection, and space to practice in real time. No pressure. Just presence.

✦ Writing the Waters: A Creative Recovery Journey
Tuesdays, June 3 – July 8 | 7:30–9:00 PM ET
Sliding scale: $99–198 | Live on Zoom
This six-week writing course is rooted in the wisdom of water—how it moves, how it heals, how it teaches us to live without force.
Each week, we’ll explore a different form of water as a portal into our own stories, our recovery journeys, and our creative voice:
The Well – origin, longing, sacred thirst
The Ocean – vastness, surrender, and sobriety as depth
The Tide – cravings, cycles, and the wisdom of rhythm
The Stream – voice, movement, creative flow
The Rain – renewal, grief, and gentleness
The Fog – mystery, emergence, and becoming
Water doesn’t perform. It doesn’t push.
It carves stone simply by being what it is.
In this course, we’ll write to remember what’s within us, what’s waiting to be spoken, and what no longer needs to be held alone.
You don’t need to be a writer.
You just need to be willing to listen to your inner knowing.
Each session includes:
A live 90-minute Zoom call with writing time, somatic practice, and optional sharing
A beautifully designed weekly PDF with prompts, ritual invitations, and more
Access to replays if you miss a session
A private space for gentle connection between sessions

May this month meet you gently.
May the light linger a little longer on your skin.
May the wind carry something sweet to your senses.
May your body whisper truths you are ready to hear.
May the page welcome your voice like water welcomes the moon.
If something inside you is blooming, or aching to—
I’d be honored to hold space for it.
With wonder, always,
Anne Marie
